Menopause Care

Evidence-based menopause care from a GP who trains other clinicians in it — and it's all part of your Women's Health MOT™.
What it is

There's no separate menopause consultation here, because your hormones were never a separate subject from your sleep, your weight, your mood, your bones and your heart. Menopause care is woven right through the Women's Health MOT™. What you get is an unhurried consultation with me — a GP and menopause specialist who's led NHS Women's Health hubs and trained over 150 clinicians in this — where we go through your symptoms, your history and your risks, and build a plan. That might include HRT (testosterone too, where it's right for you), non-hormonal options, and lifestyle medicine.

British Menopause Society-aligned. Honest about the benefits and the risks. And built entirely around you.

Who it's for
  • Perimenopausal or menopausal symptoms — hot flushes, broken sleep, mood changes, brain fog, joint pain, low libido, fatigue

  • Women who've been dismissed, or told “your bloods are normal”

  • HRT reviews, second opinions and the more complicated cases

  • Women who simply can't get the time or the expertise they need on the NHS

What happens when you come in

You'll fill in a structured questionnaire before we meet, so we spend our time together on answers, not admin. We go through your symptoms, your history and your personal risk profile, and I'll arrange blood testing where it'll help. You leave with a written plan and a review booked in — because getting HRT right is a process, not a single appointment.

How I work with your GP

Where HRT is right for you, I work with your GP and primary care team to get it in place and keep it under review, writing to them with a clear recommendation so your treatment sits in your NHS record, where your ongoing care belongs. You get the specialist time and expertise; your GP gets a plan they can act on.

What you can expect
  • A clear picture and an evidence-based plan that's yours

  • A written recommendation to your GP, so treatment can be started and continued in primary care

  • Symptoms treated at their cause — most women feel significantly better within three months

  • Your long-term health protected: bones, heart and brain

  • A doctor in your corner, for the long haul
